Is Veena free to download?
Yes. Veena is free on Google Play, the App Store, and as a Windows installer. There is no account to create and no subscription.
Do I need internet after installing?
Only once: Veena downloads a speech model when you set it up (about 125 MB for Telugu, about 480 MB for the full 22-language model). After that, transcription works completely offline.
Which Android version does Veena need?
Veena runs on Android 8.0 or later.
Is there a Mac or Linux version?
Desktop builds for macOS and Linux are in development. Today the desktop app is available for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit).
